"TNA Knockout" So Cal Val

Val, first off I would like to thank you for taking the time to participate in Twenty Questions. Second, and please forgive me, but I'd be GAY, if I didn't tell you what a hot piece of work you are. So with that said, let's start with the questions.

TolerancE - What and who inspired you to get into the wrestling business?

So Cal Val - I just got hooked like everyone else. Wrestling will do that to you. Stephanie McMahon was my first favorite though.

TolerancE - Several credible sources say that you trained yourself, if so, how did you go about doing that and how long did it take you to learn the skills needed to perform?

So Cal Val - It's just something you have or don't have. Charisma and that sort of thing cannot be taught. I just watched tapes and emulated the characters I liked before putting my own spin on it. The best way to learn is to study those that have come before you. And so I did.

TolerancE - Who has been the most helpful to you during your career?

So Cal Val - Honestly probably myself. I believe other than having faith in God, you're the one responsible for your own destiny. I'm proud of the work I've done where promoting myself and practicing is concerned. But there are a lot of people that have given me great opportunities. In TNA I would say people like David Sahadi, Bill Banks, Jeremy Borash etc. They are the people that have been kind to me and given me a chance. The office of TNA in general has been very good to me. I'm blessed to have worked as much as I have at such a young age. I am only 20, after all. TolerancE - What is your ultimate goal in this business? So Cal Val - To be the best at what I do.

TolerancE - Who calls the shots there?

So Cal Val - I do. No one can do a good job for me, they can only give me the chance to.

TolerancE - How is the backstage environment in TNA?

So Cal Val - Great. Everyone is very friendly and looks out for one another.

TolerancE - What do you think about the WWE Diva Search?

So Cal Val - I think it's the WWE Diva Search. :-D

TolerancE - Who is your all time favorite wrestler?

So Cal Val - Ooh tough one. Of all time? Triple H probably. He is outstanding. And of course, Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles. I can't leave them out.

TolerancE - What gets you prepared for a big show?

So Cal Val - Listening to the right music, probably. And watching tapes the night before is something I like to do too. I watch tapes all the time, actually. But sometimes it's cool to just remind yourself of how much you love what you're doing by watching your favorites promos or matches.

TolerancE - Again, RUMORS have surfaced about Playboy contacting you. Whats the scoop with that?

So Cal Val - The scoop is pretty much that I was asked about it and I haven't decided anything yet. It's a very big deal so it isn't something I would rush into.

TolerancE - Can we expect to see you in the WWE full-time in the future?

So Cal Val - I have no idea what the future holds. But my heart is in TNA.

TolerancE - What is your favorite Wrestlemania match?

So Cal Val - HBK VS Stone Cold. I forget which Mania it was. They put a package together for it with Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve that was just great. It makes you love the match even more.

TolerancE - What is your most embarrassing moment in the ring?

So Cal Val - Probably last week when I wore a long beaded necklace to the ring during an FIP match. I was standing in the ring being introduced and the necklace broke and fell. There were about 400 beads rolling around the ring. Luckily nobody fell, but that was pretty silly.

TolerancE - Where do you see yourself in 2 years?

So Cal Val - Hopefully still doing what I'm doing.

TolerancE - How long have you been a wrestling fan?

So Cal Val - I started watching at 14.

TolerancE - Past or present, is there anyone you wish you could manage and why?

So Cal Val - No. I like to manage period. It doesn't matter who it is. I have favorites, but most of my favorite wrestlers I think would be better without a manager.

TolerancE - Out of the rest of the TNA Knockouts, who do you feel the closest too?

So Cal Val - That's hard. I have known Tracy the longest but the other girls are my friends too. We are a bunch of goofballs!

TolerancE - Any special projects that you're currently involved in you wish to share with us?

So Cal Val - The TNA Knockouts DVD! That will be released on August 29th! Hooray! :-)

TolerancE - Whats one thing you fear the most?

So Cal Val - Anything circus-related. Like clowns. I stayed in a circus theme hotel the other day and was NOT happy. And Willy Wonka too. He's weird. And aliens. And cats. Cats freak me out. Especially the Cat in the Hat. Actually, anything Dr. Suess is just terrifying. I guess I'm scared of a lot.

TolerancE - If we wanted to get a hold of So Cal Val merchandise, how would we go about ordering?

So Cal Val - Through my website www.SoCalVal.net or I have a lot of merchandise through www.RingDivas.com as well.

Brief Word Association...Just give me the first thing that comes to mind.

Vince McMahon -- Pinstripes
Jeff Jarrett -- White Pants
Myspace -- Putyourselfover.com
Knockouts -- Are HOT! ;-)
Chyna -- That peacock outfit she wore to Wrestlemania. How cool was that?
